I had to wait late to post this; simply b/c of pure anger flowing through my blood.

This was the classic “giving the game away” moment. Ya’ll know I keeps it 💯 w no homerism in game, so here’s my take from today’s game.

1. Can we please stop using the term “elite” w any of our players? Elite don’t miss tackle after tackle. Elite don’t drop TDs or muff punts in clutch moments. Elite don’t give up 10 sacks and an ungodly amount of QB pressure. Elite doesn’t allow a make shift OL to give a rattled-by-nature QB time to just throw the ball at will. Our young men are good, but not elite.

2. I’m not sure why Enos didn’t pull Jarren to the side and just tell him it’s OK to throw the ball out of bounds. Him holding on to the ball for literally 5-6 secs was inexcusable.

3. Will Mallory....he’s beginning to look like a Green Tree All American.

4. Shaq and Pinckney, extremely disappointed in them. I’m still waiting for Shaq to show me something in big games.

5. The DBs by far looked like the best coached unit, which is ironic b/c it’s so thin.

6. Bravo Mr Dallas; hats off to you! Helluva game by that boy!

7. ST is still broken in all facets. Ridiculous

8. UF tried to give us the game & we refused to take it.

9. Where tf is Pope???!!

10. The refs absolutely sucked. While they didn’t lose us the game, they certainly killed momentum and gave UF momentum several times by either calling bad PIs, missing blatant holds, calling holds on us that weren’t there (see Harris’ run) or missing a false start that was extremely egregious. Yet, they didn’t miss a beat on any resemblance of an infraction on us.

11. I’m tired of the talking. I didn’t see toughness; I saw confusion, and an ill-prepared team, and that was on both sides. Had we played against an actual good team w an offense, we would’ve got lit up, legit.

12. Get rid of the Turnover Knuckles. It’s weak & corny af! I don’t care if we would’ve won the game. The gimmicks r too much! It showed on & off the field. We’re beginning to look like clowns. The chain, in general, is losing its mystique and that happens when you’re continuing to lose & momentum is not shifting, despite the TOs.

Listen, I don’t want to hear this was Jarren’s 1st game, excuse. We have ample sample sizes now w Tua, Winston, Hurts, Manziel, & of course, Lawrence. These kids r coming out balling, despite youth & inexperience. The fact is, Jarren needs help; and unfortunately no matter how talented he may be, this OL is an unmitigated disaster. E

Yesterday was a mess on both sides of the coin. The trenches can no longer be filled w 3 star guys; in order to be back, the trench must be flushed w elite caliber players, not just Green Tree All Americans.

The OL being so fcking bad it almost covered up all the other terrible facets of our game last night. All your points are valid.

Let’s just be honest with ourselves . Until UM pays for recruits ( not sure we ever will ) this is what we are it will never change until we keep up with the $ec.

Side note Craig Haubert who was commenting the Deerfield vs carol city game yesterday had the all time espn 300 team ( Craig’s list )from South Florida. Out of 22 only 3 went to UM since 2006. Recruiting is the problem here nothing else.

FYI..UF had the 15th ranked Offense in the country last yr. We held them to 304 total yds, 50 yds rushing, and forced 4 TOs.

The old guard who used to make sure this program was run like an SEC team (we made the **** blueprint for them) have all died off and are replaced with pussyass softees like David Epstein.

They love the optics of “bringing mark richt home” and “hiring a Miami born Cuban” more than they love stomping on opponents throats.

I mean the Diaz hire is like 99% the same situation as The Randy hire and clearly they didn’t learn.

Is that true? What I found is NCAA.com saying they are 42nd.

As usual you're placing importance on all of the wrong numbers-just like with hoe *** recruiting rankings. A much better gauge for judging offensive efficiency & productivity, is S&P+ ratings. In the future learn to be humble, and expand your horizons. It'll serve you well. Maybe not on wall st, but in all other aspects of your life it will.

I know most of you guys are judging based on a standard but that won't happen until we schedule SEC teams year in year out like Clemson did to build their program to an elite level. I wish we played in the Atlantic division so we can play against Clemson every year. I remember how FSU used to spank Clemson every season and they took it like men and learned from it. They play South Carolina every year, Auburn some years, as well as UGA to get a feel of what it means to play SEC teams. The ACC Coastal has lowered our level of play significantly. We're built like an Coastal ACC team, weak and inferior to the other big conferences and that's including the Atlantic Division teams. We have to get Bethune Cookman, FIU, FAU, and the MAC teams the **** off our schedule and I mean fast. The Coastal has enough cupcakes in it for crying out loud.

I literally just asked you where you got for info from, since I found differing info. I wasn't condescending or being ****y. With that said. If those rankings are "the most accurate". Than the whole "manny had a top 5 defense 2 years in a row" angle needs to be squashed. That website has Miami barely in the top 15 last year and not even in the top 15 the year before.

Lets take baby steps and start scheduling Pac-12 teams first. Then we can move up to big 12 teams.

His defense last yr was elite when you consider the fact that the offense he played behind was one of the worst in P5. Not to mention horrendous special teams which only exacerbated the situation

Oklahoma doesn't have any 5 star OL (I believe four 4 star and one 3 star). I guarantee they manage to score lots of points with Jalen Hurts. He's nothing special at QB.

The record setting Oregon Ducks in 2010 had three 2 star, one three star, and one 4 star and a mediocre Deron Thomas at QB. They managed to put points up too.

Mike Leach probably doesn't have a 4 star OL on his roster and WSU will score like crazy. Schemes and coaching make up a lot of ground. Unfortunately we have another few years of watching Miami struggle to score points with a pro style system, despite actually having a decent QB this year. Maybe Manny will learn quickly that it's ok to run a college-style spread offense in college by year 3.

Respect.

That said, to be fair, Trevor Lawrence wasn’t thrown in to the deep end game one with two freshman tackles AND a first time starting center on a team with 100% new offensive staff, new head coach, coming off a 7-6 season of complete disfunction, in a basic road game.

In fact, he didn’t even start game one against Furman. He was worked up to that point over several games.

If we see this kind of offense week 15, I’m with you, but it may not be fair to compare week 0 to championship game TL.

The fact that you are comparing us to oregon and WSU shows how bad we have become.

No- it shows there are ways to generate offense that dont require having Alabama's OL. You know Miami's current blue chip ratio? 51%. 2018 Oklahoma- 53%. That Oklahoma team was light years better despite having similar ratios. Notre Dame was 51%. IDENTICAL to 2019 Miami. That ND team was vastly better too. How can that be? The numbers don't lie, recruiting wise Miami is just as good as playoff caliber teams, yet we look and play like a mid tier P5.

We have a true freshman 2 star starting at left tackle. Who the fck has that ?

I definitely agree with you about the talking. We talk tough but can’t ever back it up. The talking, chains and rings are ridiculous when we constantly get our asses kicked on national tv. We look like clowns. I disagree about needing 5 star OL. Lots of teams with 2 and 3 star lineman get way better push and protection than we do. We probably can’t convert a 3rd and 1 or 2 against anyone this year with our OL. They are soft, weak, possibly blind, and probably shouldn’t be playing D1 football. Every single one of them suck. The LB’s- late, slow, missed tackles- as usual. Nothing new, same ****, same results.

Look at who those bums play in the pac-12. WSU is not putting up those numbers on a team with real talent.
