I don’t think people realize how good it was for us to miss on a bowl game this year.

I don’t think people realize how good it was for us to miss on a bowl game this year.

I usually want the players to be able to go to the bowl for the experience (they usually do things outside of the bowl) and the swag/gifts.

But hands down not going is the best thing for the current players who are staying and the coaches. We need to focus on beefing up the roster and possible coaching departures, not a bowl game we are likely to look awful in, long term that's really what is best for everyone going forward.
