Need them to beat SmU and lose to Clemson
You joke, but there is a REAL possibility the ACC champ isn’t one of the 5 highest conference champions and zero teams go to the playoffs
Several ways.Alright how does that help us
Yes and no. He probably would have busted a long TD run, but Brohm should have just handed the ball off to K. Brown a lot more. He averaged 10 ypc.Louisville missed Isaac Brown in a big way tonight
What G6 Champs be ranked higher
If he rights the ship absolutely. He’s won 10 games, probably tracking that way again. If he can absolve his November issues and backdoor in it’ll be the best coaching done here in two plus decades. If by some miracle we make the playoffs and land a top 7 class, even if we get bounced in the first round Mario should get a raise.
Louisville like us had the weird bye situation so they will be playing 7 straight weeks.Louisville will lose to Clemson..
I dunno but am certain there will be 10 threads on page 1 trying to explain the ACC standings by tomorrow afternoon
And SMU lose to CalLouisville will lose to Clemson..
I’m assuming you meant USF? I doubt the G5 gets ahead of the ACC champ. For the winner to not be ranked would take some absolute silliness to have us not make it.Memphis lost today... UCF might sneak back in
Next week is huge for usSeveral ways.
1. Gives UL 2nd conference loss and it’s a BAD loss. At home to Cal. Not good. This loss will drop them (and UVA too) below Miami in the polls.
2. If the ACC has a two loss team, they should get 2 teams in the CFP: the ACC winner and the two loss team. And the loser of the ACCCG isn’t guaranteed to be the 2nd ACC team IF that teams has 3 losses after the game.
3. If Miami wins out AND looks good, voters will move them closer to ND and other 2 loss teams; and we have good wins (ND, USF, Pitt).
4. After tonight, Miami’s path is a little bit clearer with these two HUGE losses (UL and UVA)
Next week is going to be fun
Clemson @ UL
Notre Dame @ Pitt
UVA @ Duke
Ga Tech @ BC
NC State @ Miami

If Louisville loses Friday and beats SMU, we would be right back in the thick of second place if we can win out. I’m not even going to attempt to understand the tiebreakers. And SMU lose to Cal
