Off the football field, if you're a top recruit/player, you can pretty much guarantee that Fisher will not allow you to get punished, if it's up to him. The only way anything happens to a player is if it's out of his hands, which, with the help of the Tallahassee Police Department, it rarely is.
If Gurley played for Fisher, he's be the top candidate for the Heisman right now, but, because he plays for Richt, he got suspended.

The thing I do not understand from some on this board. You have a chance to play in front of 80K fans at every home game, and usually a packed house on the road as well, to watch you. Or Chance to play at home in font of maybe 15K fans, except once every 2 years when FSU comes to town. Who would you pick. Until we tart filling the stadium and at a minimum compete for ACC Champ, we will lose most recruiting battles to the noles for the ones the players they really want. It is not that hard to understand. We have all been to home games, and the atmosphere is awful, no fans in the seats. We need to start inning real soon, or this is something we will never get out of.
