11-12 ain’t Gonna Cut It

If you would have told me we beat TAMU and Clemson and lose a hard fought one score game to FSU on the road with the starting QB going down with injury on the final drive I would have taken it… I would have assumed we won 8 or 9 games.

Last year was embarrassingly bad… but this year has been a ton of self inflicted errors.

Nine? Not nearly good enough. Shannon won 9, Golden won 9. Richt won 10. For what he is being paid and the amount of resources he has been given, he needs to be in playoff contention. It takes 18-24 months to shape a program like how you want it. 9 wins is total horses**t. Next year is the year. He will either win big or we will know he is a failure.
 
UNLV basketball is also perennially ‘1 year away’ from being back.

It’s who we are-a once proud program reduced to perpetually being ‘1 year away.’

I have maintained that the 2024 season is were Mario & the Canes are going to show life again. Definitely thought 8-4 was the minimum for 2023, but I'll take 7-5 with considering that we might of been 8-4 if a knee was taken.

Anyone who thinks Mario is not here for at least 3 more years is kidding themselves. Just pray we win the next two and have some momentum in recruiting.

He definitely doesn’t seem too bright. He reminds me of the internet marketing and sales guys you see who’ve memorized 10 go-to slogans and just stick to them.

I think when the bullets are flying on gameday, he can’t keep up so he slows down and goes into Conservative Caveman mode.
