10th coaching spot will go to defense, no offensive staff changes

I’m not sure why anyone is disappointed

Two things:

1- if u follow this program closely, u already should know Mork wouldn’t let anyone else call plays. He said it when he was hired. That’s the main reason he took the job

2- IMO this is the better decision for us fans who have been following this program since we were young lads and pulling for them to win more than we like breathing air.........we realized Mork just doesn’t have it & It’s one step closer to getting a new head coach that gives us hope

I wish that would be the case! I hate what Richt is doing more than anyone on this board! I'm just wishing and hoping that the man can't be that stupid to make no changes! I want to see a better offense next year and not the BS we witness this year on OF. And I can't get upset that people on this board rip me or don't trust that anything would happen with this coach because we have been kicked in the balls so many times that we just don't believe it is possible for this AD can make simple and obvious moves to better the team. .

Oh a head coach, sure.

Then they go and spend about a buck fifty on coordinators, assistants, position coaches and football staff.

Need to look at the entire staffing budget, not just the head man.

Miami spends less than Duke.

I really wish I had some. But you deserve to criticize anyone that may WISH for something positive to happen out of a Richt decision or none decision! We all been kicked in the balls so many times with the AD, Richt and the BOT trust with this team!!

The staff is compensated fairly. Richt's deciding on putting guys around him that won't conflict with him. The last time that happened was with Jeremy Pruitt. It was reported that we offered Manny $1.5 mil to stay, that would've made him the second highest DC in the ACC; Venerables is arguably the highest paid outside of Aranda.
 
None of this should come as a surprise. Perhaps Rick was a plant by The Russians aimed at completely eviscerating this program off the map.

They certainly hired the right guy so props. This will be worse than Folden and Shannon combined when it’s over mark my words.

You've got boosters on the record saying Miami has money to pay for an offensive coordinator. You've got Mark Richt on the record saying we'll have a NATIONAL SEARCH for a defensive coordinator.

Yet, we've decided to CUT SALARY to the staff and make no outside moves to a team that was 7-5 and had an offense in the 90s.

You can't okey doke me.
