100 Years of Miami Hurricanes Football

I know its already been said. Here's what history looks like...

We just had a season where we've beaten arguably our top 4 most hated rivals. We won the Fiesta Bowl.

We get to come home after a grueling 3 games on the road, especially after playing...and winning...not necessarily our best executed performance.

100 years of Miami Hurricane Football.

There has been no participating team that has hosted the National Championship. Unless I am mistaken...but when ypu talk about the Miami Hurricanes, you talk about history.

We solidified our place in history already, and here we are with the opportunity to put another notch in our belt. For two decades we've had to defend ourselves, but one man stepped up and said 'Hold my beer, I got you guys'

It took a Cane to show the nation that the Miami Hurricanes are not dead. Not at all.

I believe this is in the playoff era as we won our first National Championship at home in 1983 at the Orange Bowl

IF THERE WAS ANY YEAR TO MAKE A STATEMENT IT WAS GOING TO BE THIS YEAR AND THIS TEAM…LIKE YOU POINTED OUT, CURB STOMPIN’ OUR 4 BIGGEST RIVALS ALL IN THE SAME SEASON AND THE POTENTIAL OF PLAYING FOR A NATTY AT HOME PUT MORE THAN ENOUGH FUEL ON THE FIRE TO GET IT DONE….COACH MARIO DIDN’T JUST STUMBLE INTO THIS…HIS LEADERSHIP, INTUITION AND PLAN FOR WHAT’S HAPPENING RIGHT NOW WAS WHY HE TOOK THE JOB…AND GOD BLESS HIM FOR THAT!! NOW LETS FINISH IT!!! GO CANES!!!
 
it feels like the stars all aligned and everything that we could have hoped for has happened.

that's why I feel we are winning the natty...most of our titles we tend to win at home and oh look, here we are yet again. it was meant to happen this year for miami.
