#10 Penn State @ Illinois

Me too bro. Ward is actually doing really well right now. Darnold I am sure will end up doing well, but when things don't go his way(like last night and against OSU) he starts to make really bad decisions. But I think once he gets the mental aspect handled he will be great. Agree about them dodging a bullet lol. The Giants dodged one too by drafting Barkley. I actually wanted a QB, but now I am happy we ended up with Saquan lol. What I hoped for was the browns would get Allen and the G men could have grabbed Baker lol. Rudolph is garbage right now lol. I don't think anyone expected that.
I’m a big believer in having a great dline solves a lot of problems on defense, so when then Browns didn’t pair Chubb with Garrett I thought they’d ****ed up with that like a classic browns move.

But in all honesty I’m a rams fan (Kurt Warner is what got me into football) so I went through many ****** years of following the St. Louis rams and when they drafted gurley coming off a bum knee I flipped a lid and swore I’d never watch them again but it’s crazy what a top rb could do for your team (mind you if you have a competent oc, unlike fisher) man you and people complain about richts play calling you literally would’ve had to taken a Xanax to stomach Jeff Fisher call 1970s calls

I agree about the D Line 100%. Having a dominant D line is the most important part of a defense. If they have no run game and the QB is constantly getting pressured you are in a very good position to dominate. LMAO bro I remember fisher. He was good on the titans, but IDK if the other teams figured out his offense or what, but he was TERRIBLE at calling plays in st louis. I actually don't mind Richts play calling too much. I don't like the way he handled the QB situation. I think on year 3 he should have something better than Rosier out there lol. I take some shots at his play calling when he does his 2 runs up the middle that get stuffed and then has Malik air it out on 3 and 10, but I want to wait to see what he can do with a good QB. I always see WRs wide open all game so I have no problem with him as OC YET. However, if he ends up having Jarren starting next year and the offense still can't move the ball against good Ds. Then I will 100% want a new OC. Right now I really am just ****ed at Richt for Hiring Jon Richt as QB coach and not being able to develop a solid QB.

No I’m in the same boat with richt calling plays ... richt the recruiter ****ed over richt the play caller I mean it’s a shame when you have our wrs running free every play (even orgeron said those are the best wrs he’s seen). Also severely handicaps you when oppposing defenses flat out disrespect the qb by putting 8 men in the box.

Again you’re right year 3 we should not be trotting out rosier, that falls on him/his son and I think he’s ******** himself by handicapping our team to seniors that shouldn’t see the field. My theory is that he’s a little more hands on with qbs than most people think, with the videos I’ve seen from practice he seems a lot more interactive with qbs then other position groups.

With fisher all I can say is he had an eye for talent on the defensive side of the ball and with running back .. every draft pick seemed like we found a gem. Was not crazy at all about the Mcvay hire but to fishers credit he left the roster a better place than what your boy from the giants spagnulo left us and with his philosophy on pillars of excellence (don’t remember exactly) when drafting really ****ed us over.

“I actually don’t mind Richts play calling that much”. Wow, OGH said that, Thought you hated Pastor Richt

Ya I really feel bad for these WRs. These kids could have been ALL ACC with even a below average QB. Rosier is literally costing these guys money. lol. Like you said its hurting the RBs too with the box stacking. I think your right about the QB thing. I think he figured that since he is basically going to be the QB coach he could let his son learn on the job, but now he is trying to be the HC, QB coach, and OC. Don't even get me started on the senior BS lol. That is true he did land a bunch of great underrated defensive guys and RBs. Spag was overated AF. He got lucky getting left with an absolutely stacked elite defense lol. I was actually ****ed when we took him back lol.

no I hate his slurpers like yourself. That thinks the man could do no wrong.

No, he has done some things wrong for sure. I am wanting to see the 20 and 21 classes on board and the way they stacked right now, should at that point have no reason not to beat anyone. Roster still not right yet.

We have had the number one class at one point from 21 all the way back to the 16 class(we also had the number one class a few times under Golden, but they fell apart later in the season). We never actually keep all of the studs.

100%. Darnold looked like he did in the OSU Bowl game last year, last night. Bad throws, forcing throws, etc.

He’ll be another bust in the long history of USC QBs not panning out. Carson Palmer is their most successful QB, and he only has 1 playoff victory under his belt.

"Just wait until the 30 and 31 classes come in. Then you will see how my work with the Miami optimus league payed off. "

No, 20 and 21 will be five full recruiting classes. If we not getting it done with a fully Richt roster than we never going to get it done. Just saying.

LMAO bro. I never even realized that. USC really does pump out busts. With all that talent they have they really should be dominating. Instead they are getting beat by a trash Texas team and barely scraping by Wash St.

Oh I did b/c I lived in LA and hate SC. Being that my ex is from SC and her god father is Ronnie Lott, it made my hate for them that much more. Lol

Outside of a couple of good players like Seau, Lott, Palamalou, Matthews, OJ...a lot of those guys they put in the league either bust or didn’t live up to the hype. Go peep that 03-05 team and compare them to our 00-04 teams, and see who pumped out better NFL players. It’s amazing how many bust SC had on that squad.

Yooo Ronnie Lott is that dude tho lol. One of the GOATs. I used to play with him in Tecmo Bowl or whatever football game it was that I had back in the day with him lmao. Thats a fact though Reiggie Bush also never lived up to the hype. Not even a comparison we got so many HOFers from that era. Looking at it now though even when they were good the guys still didn't really do **** in the NFL except for a few guys like the ones you mentioned.

Penn St starts very slow, but then turns it on at the end it seems.

Its only gonna save them for so long when they actually have to play a team with a decent defense
