I think NDs defense is legit legit. They have guys on every level and brought in some IDL help which was their weakness last year.

Their O looks funny in the light to me though. I don’t believe Carr is more than a game manager so interested to see how that works after losing those 2 studs at tailback.

UGA at #3 is wild. Their defense brings a lot back. But offensively they have as many questions as anyone else in America, Stockton is what he is at this point, Frazier is a good back (some might not think he's good but I really like him as a back), WRs are a huge questions with a nonexistent answer, OL is a question, and the TEs are highly regarded but kinda unproven.

Their leading WR coming into this year had 279 yards receiving total last year. That's barely enough to have more than the best football player on our team had last year, aka Elijah Lofton.

I don't understand how UGA thinks they're so good. Cause Stockton ain't **** imo. They have unproven WR & TE. And their lead back had fumble issues all last year.

They will have a good defense. I’m not delusional. And I personally like Frazier, but he does have a butterfingers problem.

Roster wise they have a some guys who on paper should be good but they just struggle to move the ball consistently. Won a ton of games on the back of Stockton playing backyard football late in games last year. Odds are they’ll regress to the mean. And if their pass rush vanishes again it could be a rough year.

A lot of UGA fans I know are hedging on the defense being elite, like their title teams elite with all the returning talent.

I don’t think that matters with how bad that offense could be. If they can’t find some kind of replacement for Branch it’s going to be an anemic passing attack. And if they can’t move the ball idgaf how many five stars litter your two deep on defense. Eventually they’ll break down.

Their Defense isn't even Elite either.

Their Secondary is slow as sh*t. They have a Secondary full of LB's. They can't cover routes that go beyond 15yds downfield.

The only reason their Defense looks good is because SEC teams always play right into their hands & try to out Georgia, Georgia, by running the ball right into the teeth of their Defense.

When teams spread'em out & make their slow *** Corners run, they can't keep up. Hence, why they've lost their last 2 to Ole Miss & Bama.

They're not an explosive team & they run an extremely simplistic Offense. They bank on teams playing conservative & winning low scoring field position battle games.

Whenever they play someone who's not scared of them & attacks them on the perimeter, they lose, because they can't keep pace score for score with good offenses.

I personally don’t think they’ll be elite like some think. I think most are just assuming the freshman and sophomores will be better because they are a year older.

I absolutely loathe their offense. I watched them in person vs GT and they couldn’t throw the ball five yards downfield. It was really pathetic honestly. No effort is made to attack the middle of the field. And for a program that has invested the resources they have into TEs it’s dumb. I’ll never understand it.
