Posters we were saying that we were an average or not a top-25 team. There must be a lot of below-average teams this year because this list is unimpressive.

The number of bellow average teams this year is actually lower because fewer teams are playing... otherwise, it remains a constant as half of the teams are below average.

We better be focusing on each game that's ahead of us. Because the only teams left on our calendar that have substantially less talent than us are Ga Tech and Wake. Ga Tech beat us last year, and Wake is 4-2 having already beaten UVA and Va Tech.

Meanwhile, NC State, Va Tech and UNC have looked better than us in some of their wins this year (and worse than us in some of their losses).

My point -- we're more talented than everyone, but not THAT much more talented that we couldn't lose to any one of these teams. I really wouldn't be thinking about our ranking right now.

It’s largely because there’s no OOC play this year. The top Group of 5 teams don’t have games where they can lose to Power 5 teams. That results in there being a lot more undefeated Group of 5 teams this year than in a normal year.

You're right, I came across a bit too provocative. My implication was that BYU is being touted solely on the shoulders of Wilson, much like Pitt and my Dolphins would have been laffed at if not for Marino.

I’m not unnecessarily worried either but between our team having Covid-19 and NC State also having a bye week to prepare whomever they’ll have at QB, nothing would surprise me on the road.

One at a time this year...

Balom was cleared to play by ncaa at 9am Saturday before the uva game... I’m not sure who else was or wasn’t on that list but hopefully that’s a good sign.
