#10 coaches poll

I’m in the camp that wants to finish strong, bring in great class and keep rolling. Bad football, including coaching, drives me nuts, but I just can’t get infatuated with every other team’s head coach, because as we’ve seen across the country, getting the next elite one is pretty difficult.

And the camp that likes busting balls...

Yea, Cincy is legit. BYU is pretty good but not sold on them being a top 10 team. More like 15-25.

As far as those #10/#11 Canes(that our fans think suck), as others have said, we just need to keep racking up wins and close on this class. Style points are irrelevant. No recruit is going to be like “idk about signing with Miami man, they only beat UVA by 5 points”.

Win loss record is all that matters.

So you think Cincy is legit, Miami fans think being 10/11 sucks and style points don’t matter to recruits? Lol. Got to love CIS.
 
We do better in the polls when we don’t play..won last week and dropped a couple spots.Take this week off and move up...maybe we can COVID/Cancel/Bye our way into the top 5 by seasons end..

A win this week would be big, not because NCSU is good, but because it would be more evidence that we're beating back those inconsistency / bye week / team culture demons or whatever has plagued us for so many years. Being ranked in the top 10 is our own little dose of what Saban called rat poison. It gives NC State a big target and the motivation and focus that comes with it. Beating them isn't about showing we're better than NCSU, but about progress in reshaping our team.

Posters we were saying that we were an average or not a top-25 team. There must be a lot of below-average teams this year because this list is unimpressive.
 
Let's stay real, with all these teams not playing, practices getting jacked up, all I care about is are we actually improving as a team, not where we rank as well as alot of these skewed team and player rankings. Let's not act desparate just to say we in the top 10. If you want to do some rankings, are our coordinators "top 10" is coach diaz a. "top 50" headcoach. Right now we're still a team trying to find an identity, we have enuff legit defensive personnel to be an overall better defense. All that soft coverage they keep calling behind the he solid d-line play gets real irritating.

Our linebackers need to start playing down hill more often, simplified defensive calls, stop confusing your own players.
