Hopefully the link works on one of those- but our game had higher ratings than the LSU-Clemson game on Saturday night in primetime and about 1.3 million more viewers than last years SC-LSU Sunday Night Labor Day game. I can't find anything for any of the day game ratings so far, but will keep looking.

Everyone was watching. Great night all around for the program

I mentioned before we were only game on in world.. lol.. The entire football universe was watching. No high school, no college, no NFL and you had a lead in game. Was a nice setup with top 10 matchup..

Last VT game was on friday night which also was good draw but you have high school games across country and I think fox had a game. That UL game is on friday should be another showcase game besides the others we have coming up..

They also talked about how year over year against LSU vs Clemson it best them out as well by over a million………………

I get your point but it also reinforced how it our performed two teams that ESPN glazes over weekly

Granted most of those are ND fans or people tuning in just because they hoped ND would lose, but all the exposure is good.

You didn’t mention a lot of people hate watching Miami.

It’s still being done, although when we were good, really good, part of the reason for the super high ratings we would get is that at least half of the viewing audience was hate watching Miami and hoping we would lose.

This source has it at 10.8 million. I have no idea which number is right, but it is higher than anything on ESPN for week 1 CFB, second highest CFB to only that Ohio St Texas monster rating, and I think the second highest ever on ESPN for a Sunday college football game.

10.8 million includes the new first party data that’s now officially being included in measurement and is the “right” number. 10.4 is the old panel only data and better if you’re comparing vs last year.

It was a perfect storm of hate-watching. Tons of people hate ND too. Basically you had a prime time top 10 match up where you were going to be guaranteed to enjoy watching someone lose.
I wouldn't have it any other way.
🤷🏿‍♂️
I'm from Philly, they already don't like us and I don't care. 🤷🏿‍♂️
