Now that we're getting respect (albeit IMO the wrong reason, because they want to make the game look better) at #25. Next up #1 Duke

Puke is 16-1 (3-1)

#2 SOS
#1 RPI

Only loss at NCST (ranked)

Puke is a great team, in fact they may be the best team in the nation (with Kelly). Without Kelly (he ain't playing) they are still a great team. Our advantages are were at home and have a week off. We badly needed the break, but Duke will have last played 6 days ago (us a full week off) so the advantage is almost moot.

Miami is on a 5 game winning streak (4 in the ACC) and the last time we played Puke we beat them. I don't think defense will be enough, we will have to be able to score. Scott and Brown will need to play good ball and we will need to hit our FT/3PT too.

Interesting to see the spread, I predict it will start at Canes +7.

I think it would be a good idea if we throw Gamble and Akpejiori at Plumlee and let Kadji focus more on offense. We're in horrible shape offensively and it would be a shame if Kadji gets into foul trouble trying to guard Duke's only big man.

We need Brown to start contributing consistently. Besides the GT game, he's been bad. 35% FG, 21% 3Pt, 60% FT.

Reminds me of Grant last year. Just never found his shot.

Yeah, he was extremely disappointing last year and if he played as expected, we probably would have been dancing. As mentioned, he just never found his shot.

If we're going to have a chance at winning this game, we need to shoot well from distance, as well as shoot better than our season average from the line at 66%.

Really need the crowd to be intense and give us any possible advantages over Puke.

With Kelly, who is shooting 52% from three point land this year, this Duke team is the best in the nation, IMO.

If Rion Brown doesn't hit some shots on Wednesday, than we have no shot to win.

Disagree, he's important but maybe our 6th option. If one person were to be the x-factor, I think it would be TMJ. If we're going to have a chance were going to need a couple people to contribute more than they normally do.

Time for Durand to really shine in the spotlight....would love to see him really take over on the offensive side of the ball at some point in the game.

I don't think you can say we need "x" player to play well or we don't have a chance. Fact is, we have a couple of guys who can go off in any night, Brown being one. Who knows, Kadji might go for 35 or Larkin 25 or whatever. What we really need to watch are Duke getting open 3s and transition 3s and 3s off of offensive rebounds or tip outs.

Basically, Duke hitting 10+ threes scares me. I wouldn't mind if Swoope started and body slammed Curry on the first possession.

I think the point is we need a strong performance from someone not consistently giving one i.e. Brown. Yes, if Kadji dropped 35 that would mean Brown wouldn't have too.

I think we need TJ to contribute defensively. ROK is merely meh. I can't imagine ES doing much on the defensive end this game based on size.

If JG and KK get into foul trouble early, we're in for a long night.

This is a game primed for TMJ to shine. Larkin too. He's due.

I don't have any faith in Rion Brown; hopefully I'll be wrong.

Yes, that would be nice, but I don't think it's necessary if kadji, Larkin and Scott all have great games.

I think this is implied. My point is that I am expecting normal games from Kadji, Larkin and Scott and we will need others to contribute.

Normal for those 3, if going by averages, is 12-13 points. I meant if one or two or even all three go off
