Al had 4 stud RB's committed at one point and kept one. Imagine if Walton didn't reclassify and we went 0-3. Please save the "it's because Walton reclassified that they bailed". The Don strikes again

Eh I don't blame those kids. If I was the father of a 4 star back I'd send him to Iraq before I sent him to this ******* staph.

We are led by garbage men. I have nothing but pure hatred for them. Seems croots do too.

Sorry, but that is the dumbest thing i have ever read.
 
Our staff sucks but RB's come here and go to the L. All of our starting RB from the last 3-4 classes are in the L. Mike James-bucs, Lamar Miller-Miami, Duke-will be drafted, we may have schit coaches but with Ice Harris and out style putting backs into the leauge is what we do.

UF will finish with THREEEEE elite backs and we get 1 out of sheer luck

This. Regardless of the staff we always put backs in the league. The fact we missed on all 3 and mismanaged their recruitment is just a further indictment of this staff's ineptitude.

The problem is the people that matter have no idea what a disaster this recruiting cycle has been and what a direct reflection it is of fat *** golden

At this point you have to marvel and appreciate Golden's failures. The guy can crash and burn with the best of them. I've never seen anything like it.

too early to tell but Al's hires of "South Florida recruiters" clearly isn't paying off. Ice is one of the most influencial people in South Florida recruiting and struggled. Tells us a lot on how other coaches truly feel about Al Golden
 
RB wise, this is a horrible percentage. You have to do better than this.

those guys would have made it to the NFL had they gone elsewhere, just as Michel, Cook, Scarlett, etc.. will too. There is nothing special about the the RB development at UM under this staff, nothing. To say otherwise is pure self delusion in a futile attempt to make oneself feel better.

How ironic that the U crows in the fall about its 4 stud incoming RB "commits" and laughs at UF. But when it counts -- on signing day -- we barely hold onto one, and they pull in 3, including Cronkite who supposedly did not want to compete against other top RBs.

Maybe this should be instructive to the fans to not get so excited about the current stud 2016 class, bc who knows how many of them will defect.

Let me ask you this. What other positions are going to be depleted if we signed all of those guys? I'd like to have 2 of those guys for the extra talent, depth, and competition. To make it sound like we missed them all, when in reality there isn't room on the roster for them all, is a bit disingenuous.

I'd LOVE to have had a couple of those guys. Any two of them, doesn't really matter which ones. They are all solid, and we could use more talent there. We'd never have room for all of them, though. Neither would Alabama, USC, Auburn, FSU, or anyone else.

We could have certainly used 3 more of those studs. Think back to the days when we were good. It was a string of top-notch running backs, one after another -- Portis, McGahee, Gore, etc.........
