He's a former Center for Auburn that played under Tuberville. And Centers are typically some of the smartest dudes on your team because of the high level of responsibility they have.

This guy is no clown & yes I would 100% say the same thing if he said we sucked & had us ranked at the bottom of the conference.

LCE dropping the info. Cole definitely has an eye for the game. We’ll see how it plays out. But the guys over at 247 who couldn’t tell me a fake recruit from a real one won’t get more respect from me than Cole.

I was raised Catholic and it pains me to see an organization that I know has done a lot of good in this world get bashed because of pedophiles and their enablers. That said, ND is never going to join a conference where we get to beat their *** on the regular.

However, at least they don't completely puss out like the gator. That canoe is ours forever.

I hear you, and I am well aware of Cole. I've been following him on twitter for quite some time now, he def isn't just some chip off the block CFB writer. Just entertaining myself cause 9/10 whenever one of these type pieces are published it is, "That's just another opinion & means absolutely nothing" (which is true, it is just another mans opinion). "That guy is a hack, who cares what he says". "How tf did this guy get a job" etc.

But the energy seems different here, just sarcastically inferring why although again, I know he is more credible and knowledgeable than most of the cats that do this. Hope he is right, obviously.

It’s odd that Canes are more inclined to be excited about pro-Cane sentiment than anti-CAne sentiment isn’t it? I’m sure we’re unique as a fan base in that reaction.

I agree, I have those same reactions when they're warranted.

When 2 know nothing slap happy click baiters from a recruiting site that does all of their content off of subscription base, make some half assed prediction about Miami it should be disregarded because they're just talking out of their *** & they're not well versed on our program. But when a former player & actual CFB analyst gives his outlook & critique I give it more respect & credence because I know that guy knows what he's talking about.

If Cole would've said "I don't see Miami winning a lot this year, too many questions on the OL & losing your best pass rusher in Rousseau is gonna be tough to overcome." I would respect that, even if I don't agree with it, I know it's coming from someone who is well researched, knowledgable & well thought out.

At the end of day preseason predictions from prognosticators are really meaningless, sometimes they're right, most of the time they're not & in the instances when they are wrong no one ever cares anyway lol. But as fans, you're definitely going to give more credence to credible voices who actually know the game overa couple of recruiting guys.
 
Cole with his auburn connection has probably talked with Lashlee and knows how good of a OC he is. I am surprised he put us at 2 did he give a reasoning behind it all?
