McCarthur Burnett, Deion Jackson, and Amir Rasul alone are going to receive MAJOR love once the summer is over and they've torn through the camps.

I think Miami recruits will get under valued. The writers don't feel Miami... I don't think Shaq will get another offer because they know he is UM. If Shaq hadn't committed yet... he would have the invite to the All-Star events...now he is cold product... Every time he is interviewed their concern is ... "Is there any chance any other school can steal your attention" when Shaq says he is all in at Miami... they are like... ok its a wrap nothing to see here. If he was to say I'm de-committing from Miami they would go into a feeding frenzy...let'em starve... it all about the U. Our motivation is Denzel... barely a three star no recruiting love... balled out and now is about to be a first round draft pick...I would be lying if I say I didn't want him to get the recognition as one of the nation elites... but putting priorities in their place... 1.Get better for Sr Season... 2.Going to State.... and 3. The next episode a helmet with a orange and green U.

All this ranking of overall classes is just something to gives fans a reason to argue. While it's certainly nice and necessary to find highly talented (and presumably highly ranked) players, a number one class IMO must also fill the needs of the team and positively complement the current crop of players. Otherwise it's sort of meaningless.

When's the last time we had more than two 5* commits.... Class is full of 3 stars.... No **** we ain't first not more... Quality over quantity.... Not vice versa

Denzel may have been a 3*, but he was a high 3* that was offered and took OVs to all big 3 schools. He also had a few SEC offers IIRC.

Denying that avg. star ratings matter is the same as denying global warming at this point.

Also will lose a lot like Travis. Including one of those three. All is moot 10 months to NSD.

This class holds together if (a) we have a good season or (b) we have a bad season but hire a respected new HC. So the commits we have today absolutely matter. And the people that know Florida recruiting and everyone on this board that knows local So Florida talent are all saying this is a lights out class. Who cares what Rivals thinks? Not one of their scouts has as much knowledge of local talent as 10 guys on this board (D$, gogeta , et al) or local scouts like Fishbien and Blustein. Don't agree with them, then judge the recruits for yourself by checking out their junior highlights? They're **** good.
 
FSU has 7 less commits than we do, but their class is already better than ours. History has shown that we will have a ton of decommits as well.

This is so ridiculous that we're even talking about 2016 recruit rankings. Focus on winning more than 6 freaking games and the Acc championship and recruits will come. At this point rankings in recruiting are meaningless, we know how this song and dance goes. Until they sign that NLI, commitments don't mean ****. Kids nowadays flip flop more times than politicians. Most of the time they do that to get more offers blah blah blah same ol' crap. Just WIN, then worry about recruits.

They've nailed Bruce's ranking
Shaq should be at least a 95, high 4 *
Mullins is a 3* should be a high 4*
Allison is pretty spot on could use a slight bump
Richards is a 4* pretty accurate could use a slight bump
i think they've nailed McCloud and Jackson's ratings both 4*
Tyler Byrd is an 88 (3*) should be at least 92/93 (4*)
Rasual is an 88 (3*) but will be bumped into 4* range before the season starts
Wright, Pinckney, Burnett, Simmons & Uche should all be high 3 low 4* prospects, maybe Moss as well
Jackson wil end up as a high 4* prospect by seasons end
they've nailed Hinson, Wiggins, Nelson & Gil imo

so we should have a minimum of 8 4* prospects and a maximum of 14 right now we have the minimum.
