09/25 QB Rotation

he was not. you dont remember saban going off on the reporter after the Lville game for asking him about the QB situation?

Tua started and he led Bama to 3 straight scoring drives. Hurts had 3 drives and Bama stalled on all 3 first half drives. Tua comes back in and Bama scores right before half. Yeah, Hurts is playing in mop up because Bama is destroying opponents. Hurts played the last two drives against A&M and Bama stalled.

Curious about which UNC Qb starts. The suspension returning Surratt or are they sticking with Elliot?

So what you are trying to say is that Richt needs all the help he can get to pull out a victory over that basketball school in the pretty powder blue uni's?

If Richt doesn't know by now who the starter should be, then all the tricks in the book won't help him. Since you guys suggest he needs to do this against UNC, what the **** will he need to do against all the other Coastal powers left on the schedule?
No where in my sentence did I state that Richt needed help to pull out a victory, I stated that Richt being ambivalent on who the starter is, something that Saban had been doing previously, and something that Dabo has been doing since week 1 up until now. It’s an opportunity to keep UNC off balance. Kosi and Rosier don’t play the same, they’ll have to watch 2 film studies during their film session and adjust to both QBs, perhaps it’s too obvious at this point and UNC might focus solely on Perry, but they get majority of their best players back from suspension, their season is done at this point, so they’ll be playing spoiler. Like I said underestimate a trap game and that’s you end up with the results of the VT vs OD game

Short week, prime time night game. One QBs is 5th tear senior with 13 wins including two biggest rivals, the other his red shirt freshman who lite it up for 3 quarters who is probably just coming down from the high off that one game. Do not be surprised to Rosier start.

Saban didn't do this when the season started. He had a fall camp QB competition and let it play out. Dabo didn't play that game either. He mixed in the freshman during the games and then made a determination on who would be his starter going forward. We all know that the freshman is rolling out there come game time. Clemson didn't play the advantage game with Lawrence.

UNC doesn't need to study Rosier at this point. The offense is identical this year with him at QB as it was last year. Perry would take about an hour worth of film time to get his play down. Neither one of the QB's requires much film time. They just aren't that good, yet (unknown on Perry). Miami isn't gaining an advantage by playing the quiet game.

Richt, for some reason, just can't make up his mind. Even with over a years worth of practices and games, he is still in debate mode. Richt doesn't believe in putting WR's in motion, so he surely doesn't believe in this supposed advantage gained by not naming a starter.

What does it matter if Rosier starts. Perry is going to get his snaps, too. Heck, he'll probably get more minutes than Rosier.

Hurts and Tagovailoa were listed as co-starters on the depth chart. Both have been competing for the job ever since the College Football Playoff National Championship Game in January, when Saban benched Hurts at halftime in favor of Tagovailoa, who threw three touchdowns in the come-from-behind win over Georgia.-ESPN

None of that has been decided yet," he said. "I wish we could talk about something else."-Nick Saban one week before kickoff against Louisville

Also Clemson played 2 QBs their season opener against Furman, and 2 QBs against Syracuse and Dabo was ambivalent on who would be the starter both games, this is the first week where he named Trevor Lawrence as the starter for sure.
All of this is blown out speculation on 15 mins of practice seen by the Media, we don’t know for sure what Richt is doing come Thursday and neither does UNC and I’m find by that, I’m not saying Richt is a chess master when it comes to the X’s and O’s but if it’s enough to keep UNC on their feet, that’s fine by me.

Little girls are all worked up about the order of warm up throws.

Warm-up throws, you dumb motherfūckers.

Only Rick knows who’s going to start, but I know one thing - it won’t be determined by the order of who threw the first warm up pass today.

What a bunch of stupid dumb motherfūckers many of you are. I’ve just been laughing post after post about menstruating little females getting all excited about who went first in throwing warm up passes.

They nearly beat us last season with less players than the 1970 Thundering Herd. Don't give them shlt.

Seems like all you do is reprimand retards on this board. Why even come on

Richt is just trolling the nerds on here.

You take every single advantage you can over an opponent. Doesn't matter if it's UNC or Alabama. You better believe that Nick Saban does. If not naming a starter causes UNC to have to spend 1 hour extra preparing for a different quarterback, that's one less hour they'll have to prepare for the starter. There is literally NOTHING to gain by coming out in the media and saying "X is going to be the starter on Thursday". Richt already knows. The QBs already know. More than likely the team already knows. Whether or not the fans and media know is pointless.

But, but but...now that we can't criticize Richt for not playing Perry we have to be able to criticize him about SOMETHING!!!

Lol. The head coach is not above criticism. There's some legit gripes out there but this topic isn't one of them.

Apparently everybody but you knew Tag was going to be the starter week one. Not one person ever said they thought Hurts would start. But apparently you couldn't figure it out. However, that situation is not the same as Miami. That was leading up to game 1 and they were still "fighting" it out in camp. Not once did the football world expect Hurts to line up under center against Louisville. Even Hurts knew he wasn't going to be the starter. That is why he became a little sissy in fall camp.

This is the first week that Dabo mentioned Lawrence as the starter BECAUSE Bryant was the starter and everybody knew it. Lawrence played off the bench in those games. Now that Lawrence is the starter you don't see Dabo keeping it quiet that Lawrence is going to start. There's nothing tangible gained by playing these pop warner games. It gives Miami zero advantage when the ball is kicked. UNC isn't going to change their defensive game plan based off of who goes under center.

Youve convinced me. We need to fire Richt.

Coach Richt: What did you see this time?
Rosier: This time, I saw two Koala Bears...

Coach Richt: Let me stop you there... You're done for the game!
