same as Saban -- bc they're coaches and there is no rhyme or reason. everyone knew Tua was going to start and it didnt stop saban from berating everyone who would question him about it. also, since UNC has to work in their returning guys into the lineup along with possibly preparing for 2 QBs, why not make it harder?

Perry is the younger qb with less game experience, BUT has more upside and the "hot hand" so to speak. Why not give him the needed reps with the 1s to get him more comfortable and acclimated? No need to overthink things here.

saban announced a weekly starter going into week 2 too against Ark State and said the same old speech that richt gave us about playing the best guy who gives us the best chance to win. coaches are more alike than they are different.

I don't know about every time but it seemed to fit here. Honestly I just want them to stick with one guy (Perry) and ride out. I mean wouldn't it be better in a short week against a rival to get your starter all the first team reps?

Let's not act as if CMR is some sort of coaching mastermind/genius. There's really no reason for this. Start Rosier and the defense can stack the box/pin their ears back. Start Perry and the offense is more explosive and dynamic

2. We only have 4 days to prepare
3. They’re going to study recent film of our QB play which is N’kosi vs FIU not Malik vs Toledo
Any opportunity to keep them off balance is well needed because they get their best players back from suspension
