X's and O's 0 Touchdowns on Offense = 8-4

So this only eliminates the Offensive TDs, but leaves FGs obviously.

The crazy thing is if You completely eliminated TDs AND FGs, we would have finished 4-4-3. So we still would only have had 4 losses, if you only count Defensive and PR/KR TDs. Wins against Syracuse, Temple, WVU, and Rutgers. Ties against BC, Washington, and Troy.

And in the National Championship we would have been leading 7-0 at half lol. If we would have kept our foot on gas, we probably win the National Championship game without an offensive TD or FG being needed.

I DO long for that again. Those were the days!

1983-2002.

Imagine if Howard had stayed. If Jimmy had stayed. If Dennis could have stayed. Or if Butch would have stayed.

Any one of them - we'd likely still be on a roll.
Agree with all of them but Dennis.

He was pretty bad as a program developer once the talent/development of JJ was gone.

Great game day coach but our offensive lines at the end of his tenure were proof that he could not sustain that caliber of a program.

Dennis want the best talent evaluator but if butch would've stayed we probably have a run similar to bama current.

If that team had a coach who wasn’t trying to be everyone’s friend we likely drop 60 on almost everyone and in the NC we make a clear statement by prob scoring 70 and showing zero mercy to put an exclamation on it.
