Just curious, you really don't think Butch will be considered as the HC here again do you? And aside from his recruiting prowess do you really think he is a top notch HC?

No he will not be. Now, a top notch HC is different story. There is a lot to HC in college. Recruiting is overwhelming important. Butch recruited even one but the first of our NC teams. He is far and away the finest recruiter in modern college football history. The gap between him and second place is huge. Not even Saban can sniff the turds Butch dropped days before in that dog sled team. Had he stayed, got to figure we have two or three more NC right now, maybe more. Not because he was best coach, even JJ got outcoached in three huge games, but because his players would have been that much better. That does assume he, unlike Larry, would have found replacement QBs. That is the single biggest hole since Ken. Having Kaaya actually gives even Al a shot next year. Al need a Ed Reed for the other side of the ball. The problem is Al's system for defense would probably mean Ed Reed never sees the field.
 
Gonna follow my dads advice and not thread in on the Butch and Schiano vs Golden. If you argue with fools people might not know who the fools are. Here Al is with losses against "ALL" the better teams this season, clearly a substantiated FACT! As the Thread stated 0-8 against ranked or good teams, another substantiated FACT and you got people who feel we shouldn't express or discontent with the HC and staff! How people can support a substantiated "LOSER" amazes me! These kids deserve better. The fans deserve better. The school deserve better. The city deserves better. Slap! Slap! Slap! Get a grip! You're losing it!
 
Another one of these posts... Just Let the season play out and then fired away accordingly.

Truthfully, your probably on wrong side of the equation.
