I can't dispute what you said regarding Day's record. However, Ohio State has never been known as one to play the toughest of schedules. Aside from victories over annual over-rated teams like Penn State and Notre Dame, there haven't been a lot of noteworthy wins. Indiana, Rutgers, Purdue, Maryland and Nebraska have been pretty mediocre or worse for a while. Their non-conference schedule is weak af and they almost never play less than seven home games. That said, in the name of fairness, I can't stand the B1G and I can't stand Taint even more.

I agree, but I think this game will also be somewhat a referendum on whether Mario can get it done at Miami. If we come out and look dominant I think it will generate a lot of buzz and get recruits, the media, etc to believe. It won’t be better in terms of a quality win, but I think it would be more impactful.

If we lose, the media will pounce with negative narratives.

It's really about how they beat OSU; I hope to see that same level of physicality and team-speed from Miami this season. The talent has improved but I want to see a style of play and competitive disposition we've come to expect from good Miami football teams, because..."it needs to look a certain way".
