I thought he looked pretty solid too. I guess when you don’t get into scoring position it’s hard to determine if a kicker was any good.

I coached his little brother and Jose was around all of the time. The family is terrific and they'll be there for every game.

We should have taken Jose coming out of high school. Its not like he was an unknown. He played at a feeder school.

The kicking community in South Florida is very good. We shouldn't have this problem with kickers as we've had. I think we've got rock solid placekicking for the next five years. Jose is going to be good...****, he basically single handedly beat us in the FIU game. Andy was hitting 40+ with ridiculous consistency at 12 years old and was a pretty good DB in youth football, he's athletic. We'll be fine moving forward.
