Maryland went 3-9 last year and 1-8 in conference after going 5-7 the year before. By any measurable they went backwards.

Didn’t Maryland sign that 4 star recruit late in the 2019 cycle that everyone thought was going to FSU? I wonder what he thinks about having to sit another year?

Likewise for 5 star recruit Spencer Rattler. He signs with OU last year, then weeks later OU gets Hurts. Now people are speculating that they should get another transfer.

Sounds like he is aware of the Jan 21 date for enrolling at UM and wants to hurry and see Maryland before making a decision. This might actually be good news for us. If he wasn't concerned about that deadline he would stay the weekend, knowing he is choosing Maryland in the end anyway. This might actually mean hes leaning our way. Plus, Josh Jackson didn't look all that great to me in that Maryland offense as a grad transfer.

Bad news is, I don't know what the weather is like in Coral Gables but the weather in Ft Lauderdale sucks. Rainy and overcast. Not a big deal in the end but its always good for a recruit to hop off the plane to the best weather this side of Cali in the US this time of year. We know Maryland is going to be cold and snowy.

People really need to stop bringing up weather as a factor. If it was really a big deal, we'd be getting top 3 classes every year. Top schools: Bama, OSU, other SEC schools etc are in middle of nowhere with boring *** weather.
Recruiting on top of bags is about 49% winning, 49% relationship with coaches, 2% for personal preference (college town/location, friends/family, etc.)
