“there are no little things”. This is a quote I took out of the press conference that may have been just lightly heard but carries a lot of weight. How many times do we jump off sides or make a stupid tackle out of bounds or call a silly time out.

I take this comment Mario to not be directed only at players but coaches as well. Talk the talk and walk the walk I know you will.

I’ve often heard the phrase “Don’t sweat the small stuff.” I totally disagree with this philosophy. If we sweat the small stuff, it’s much less likely bad big stuff happens.

I saw a Duck fan posting about this. He claimed Mario was a micromanager that couldnt stop annoying and getting in the way of his assistants/players. Same Duck fan also gave him an A for recruiting, an F for gameday coaching and a D for player development :giggle:.

Those same Duck fans also sit down to make the pee-pee.

It is a good lesson for life.
I train a lot of people where I work and I often bang it in their head “ little thing but big thing” “ little thing but big thing “So often I see a lack to be perfect nobody is but you strive for that and it starts with the little things. Mario talked discipline and Miami has lacked with coach after coach. He has had a knock on him at Oregon maybe by repeating this to himself even he needs to make the little things big things.

And that said Duck fan would, take him back in a fuccin heartbeat if Mario wanted to go back.
