I am not sure about that. If they are blown out and if they take common opponents as a tie breaker we have a chance.
I do not know why people are saying Bama is in no matter what. Other than just sky is falling S-E-C rhetoric but it is not a 100% certainty.

Which is why it was mentioned that idle teams can move up.

Texas Tech has to beat BYU.

Bama either needs to beat UGA or UGA needs to smoke Bama. Bama losing close will put them at 10 and ND at 9. Bama gets smoked I think both us and ND could be in

The problem is Bama. If Bama loses, they’ll push ND in front of Bama, no more head to head.

I don’t think it matters what happens with Bama especially if it’s close I could still see them not dropping & keep them at 9 with a close loss.

If we’re right next to ND, they will honor the head to head. They didn’t do it this week because it would have meant we jumped BYU, which would have been a bad look. They are waiting for BYU to lose.

If it comes down to that final spot, and it’s us vs. ND, they will put us in. THIS WAS ABOUT AS GOOD OF A RESULT AS WE COULD HAVE HOPED FOR TONIGHT! I believe we’re in if BYU loses.

Rooting guide for this weekend:

Texas Tech over BYU. Hope it’s a beat down.

Bama over UGA. Would prevent ND from moving up with a Bama loss.

UNLV over Boise. Hurts ND’s strength of schedule.

Duke over Virginia. No ACC teams get in, which helps our case.
