Might be our most impressive performance of the year. Prior to playing us he was averaging 6.9 yards per carry. One game dropped his average to 6.5. He’s better than the kid at Notre Dame.

The Smothers kid broke mentally in that game. You could see it on his face after his last carry. He was done. He checked out mentally. He didn't want to continue running into a brick wall anymore. The NC State interior OL were getting ragdolled all game. Can't wait to see this team play FSU Friday night. It will be interesting to see how they bounce back.
