Agree to disagree…I was a JHH fan though, albeit thru inconsistency. I will agree, down to down and in terms of the more accomplished career it's Barrow.

Comparable to JHH…Gun to my head I'd take JHH and if you are asking which player has a better chance of sneaking into rds 5-7 of draft I'd say JHH with his athleticism. But this kid is more consistent and has had a really nice career at MSU. Definite quality replacement.

Points all well taken, definite area of concern I would like to point out that using meaningless bowl results…(We were 1 of at least 10-12 bowls this year where one team cared and the other didn't, I hate it but it's the way it is in today's cfb) as a projection going forward may be pointless...

It may have to be…There's nothing in the portal And I agree we should be aggressively pursuing the upgrade. My only point was it may not automatically mean we are terrible against the run.

I agree 0-2 is a failure. But the 2nd item is not a lock…Teams can commit to stop the run without an ideal DT situation…And who knows…Moten, Horten could end up being strengths against the run, too early to write them off.

And again I just think the issue is room…Most of us see us bringing in 4-5 NEW DT (regardless of where from, portal/HS, includes Burroughs)…And I don't see us carrying 11 or 12 on the roster. So let's say 1 of Gore/Taylor/JHH stay (and obviously not all of those are created equal!!). Let's go...

I see your point…But I would argue that in MOST cases I'm not sure a 6th year helps them become any less fringe.

I think there's a chance the way JHH is playing this season he is an NFL guy. I don't think all these guys will be staying for the covid 6th year jmo…I also don't think all of them will be welcome. I agree C.A. is a DT all the way.
