I liked the take a lot. I actually thought his highlights showed sounder safety play than those of Avatae and Harrell. Avantae has the highest upside of the bunch. But I expect Balom to do some things at Miami. He's that high floor kid we needed in the class.

I can't think of one recent egregious example of favoritism. The closest I get is Coley playing Yearby over Gus. I can think of several examples I wished the coaches would ramp up snap counts more quickly, most recently Couch. But those are judgment calls, not favoritism. Coaches want to win...

Good problem to have. Finally. 3 are leaving after this year. So even though playing time is at a premium, I can't imagine it's going to push anyone to leave until after next Spring's depth chart is release.
