I haven't seen anyone in this thread do that. People are appreciating a freshman looking promising and like he will be a contributor. Nobody in this thread has penciled him into a starting role or "crowned" him.

Definitely not the norm. I honestly don't expect Zion to end up our regularly starting LT this year. I expect him to be the swing tackle.

Freshmen start along the OL at major programs every year. You're exaggerating how rare it is.

I don't think it's so much antagonism as it is search for alternative means of success. The odds of us snagging the top 5* OL year in and year out are not exactly in our favor. Probabilities matter. Obviously some of it is just searching for something to latch hope to because that's the...
