Confirmed The expectation is that Kevin Steele will be hired as Miami’s defensive coordinator, per sources

Show us all these supposed firings. And no, a HC losing their job and thus the staff loses their jobs is not the same as being fired. Incoming HCs almost always want to hire their own guys.

Confirmed The expectation is that Kevin Steele will be hired as Miami’s defensive coordinator, per sources

Facts like multiple top 10 defenses at Auburn and 2017 and 2019 Broyles award semifinalist and finalist?

Confirmed The expectation is that Kevin Steele will be hired as Miami’s defensive coordinator, per sources

Not how that works. The new HC makes that decision. Harsin, who has been failing badly and is disliked by most Auburn fans, chose not to keep him. Pretty simple concept. Try a little and even you might be able to grasp it.

Confirmed The expectation is that Kevin Steele will be hired as Miami’s defensive coordinator, per sources

Pretty telling when you can't argue on facts and have to resort to childish attacks of calling people ***.

Confirmed The expectation is that Kevin Steele will be hired as Miami’s defensive coordinator, per sources

Seriously, are you THAT uninformed? He left Auburn because they hired Harsin, who is looking like a complete failure, instead of him for HC. The fans and a lot of the BoT wanted Steele for the job. University decided to do a thorough search and somehow chose Harsin instead. Harsin of course...

Confirmed The expectation is that Kevin Steele will be hired as Miami’s defensive coordinator, per sources

Yes, a guy with close ties to Locksley at Maryland, who had taken a year off to collect his enormous buyout after Harsin was named HC at Auburn.

Confirmed The expectation is that Kevin Steele will be hired as Miami’s defensive coordinator, per sources

Losing a job because the HC got fired doesn't mean he got fired. If you don't understand that basic concept maybe football is a little too complicated for you?

Confirmed The expectation is that Kevin Steele will be hired as Miami’s defensive coordinator, per sources

Again, not talking about every criticism, but there are many that have been absolutely laughable. Such as claiming Steele is a bargain bin retread and a panic hire. If someone preferred an up an comer like Belk, which I did, that's fine. One can legitimately debate whether Mario should be...

Confirmed The expectation is that Kevin Steele will be hired as Miami’s defensive coordinator, per sources

We aren't complaining about criticism itself, we just point out the absolutely ridiculous basis of much of the criticism. Whining about the Steele hire and pretending its an underwhelming, bargain bin hire shows a lack of knowledge and nonsensical expectations. Steele is one of the biggest...

Confirmed The expectation is that Kevin Steele will be hired as Miami’s defensive coordinator, per sources

Exactly. I wanted Belk, but he's all about what he COULD possibly be. But he's not worth breaking the bank for if Miami can turn around and hire a proven, experienced coach with a high level track record.

Confirmed The expectation is that Kevin Steele will be hired as Miami’s defensive coordinator, per sources

Yes, hiring an established, highly regarded DC who had 5 top ten defenses while in the SEC is "panic". How ridiculous.

Confirmed The expectation is that Kevin Steele will be hired as Miami’s defensive coordinator, per sources

Belk may have a higher ceiling moving forward as he's on an upward trajectory while Steele is on the last stretch of his career. But Belk is also a much bigger gamble due to his relative inexperience. Steele is a great, experienced hire.
