I'm sure it has something to do with money and/or Manny not agreeing to reduce his buyout at all. Having Manny gone would certainly allow me to be excited about UM football again this fall. Right now I just go into every game expecting to find something new to shake my head at.

Ultimately, this is good news. No matter how it happens or how it looks to the public, the program will be much better off after Blake James is no longer associated with athletics.

Seems like you guys are saying the same thing. I guess we'll see how the rest of 2021 plays out to see if the University truly is committed to winning or if our glory days are really in the past.

Chud wouldn't be my first choice but if he comes in and does the same thing that Herm Edwards has done at ASU, that would at least be a good start. Could be a good springboard for the next guy coming in after Chud is done.
