I think DVD has a bright future and years from now him breaking away from Miami, his comfort zone, will turn out to be the best move for him to spread his wings. That said, right now with what Mario is building, we need someone better than DVD.
Our DBs did just okay last year. The safeties missed assignments left and right but made plays as well. Our CBs were very good tacklers and found success blitzing but were picked on in coverage anytime we went up against an offense with a passing pulse. We are not where we need to be there...
Yeah, you have to wait until the dust settles. I firmly believe Pruitt shoots up the rankings as an example. That said, I also believe people jump the gun on anybody that shows any flashes and crowns them. Let’s see how Cooper and Young develop first. I remember when JHH flashed and people were...
Yes arbitrary but year in year out a good bet that it will be a good class if it reaches that number. I do agree average matters a ton but the thing with classes and overall grade is that it will be a mix of quality and meeting necessary quantity needs. That’s why the 247 algo is solid.
I look at it the same. It helps you develop a fully two deep. It’s why we need to this class to be salvaged, a weak 24 class will weaken the overall affect of the 23 class.
Smart money would agree but I’ve seen things this cycle I never thought I’d see in regards to Mario and recruiting. Mincey and Rudolph are great prospects and pickups. That last 8 points will require us to land one of the outstanding big fish.
We need to get to 270, where that lands us number wise overall, I don’t really care. I just want the 270 number which is the threshold for very good for me. I call this class an overall success then as long as we also address our needs at DT.
Yeah but the points get that much harder to come moving forward. 10 points is a 5 star like Breland right now and the higher you go the less they are worth. We will need another big fish after Mincey and Patterson. That Michigan class will end up a top 15 class as well.
