Fotballville said he’s the best cover corner on the team. Ivins said nobody caught a ball on him(and this is w/o pads which makes this more impressive) and Ferman says he may have already past Blades(don’t truly believe)....but it’s clear he’s having a really good camp so far. We’ll see what...

Lol I’m not taking their word as Gospel but moreso the general census that Couch may be the best CB on the team.

All I ask from Manny and co is that they play the best players if they earn it. Enough with the seniority stuff....

Honestly dk bro. Appears Ivey has stepped up this offseason but he low key did the same thing last year. It’s still early so we’ll see how everything unfolds.

Yea, I’m not tryna knock blades. I just think Te’Cory is going to be a problem that blades won’t be able to match. Cory footwork, quickness and speed is hard to match.

Ima laugh when I look back at this thread after Couch ball out this year. when we signed him I said he was gonna be similar to Denzel Ward and ima stand on that.

Today’s game, safeties have to be able to cover the slot which bolden can do. We have safeties covering the slot all game in our defense.

I think the starters at safety are Bubba and Gurvan with Amari in the flex package. If we go Dime I’d like to see Couch and Bubba/Frierson or even Tae playing the slot.

Think he just wants the kids to earn the spot. We haven’t had a freshman safety worth starting yet.

Disagree. As long as Couch continues to gain weight he will be fine. Physically I remember clips of him challenging guys last off-season in press man. I think Couch and Blades will play the most at CB this year. I hope Ivey figures it out but mentally it appears he checks out during games and...

I love blades but his feet are nowhere near close to Couch. I agree tho, he’ll hold down that nickel and make plays!!
