    Orgeron Model and/or Dabo Model?

on the strength of your post, i changed the title of the thread ... i'm confident we will improve our kicking as we're going after the fiu kid ... watching today illustrates enos archaic ideas as neither penn state nor memphis have touched the center's butt yet

    Orgeron Model and/or Dabo Model?

good point ... it's funny you mentioned VT, they were calling for his head as well, he made the change on offense (the QB) and they took off ... again, we're a few changes away ... i think we have the qb on the roster, we just need the right guy to put them in situations to succeed

and we fired him after a year, so you were right, as a coach wouldn't you like another shot to get it right?

    Orgeron Model and/or Dabo Model?

I don't get why it's so far fetched to believe we could turn this thing around with a good OC, we just saw it happen with LSU ... it's not apples to apples in terms of league, but we gave up 20pts a game last year ... we get an OC that can scheme our talent and we have a chance ...

    Orgeron Model and/or Dabo Model?

first you can't blame the current coach for the last fifteen years of the program ... also, manny had our defense playing at a high level as a DC ... not elite but good enough to win the ACC which should be the first step in our resurgence

everyone was singing his praises when he hired enos, it just didn't work out, not sure it was a mistake though, he was the top guy on the market at the time

    Orgeron Model and/or Dabo Model?

there are two train of thoughts go get an established coach or try to get the upcoming coach ... we went established and he burned out after a year, now we went the other route .... i'm not happy either but it's what we have and atleast we're working toward trying to figure out the offense

    Orgeron Model and/or Dabo Model?

Look we can do this all day, LSU fans we're saying the same for the past few years as well

    Orgeron Model and/or Dabo Model?

because they don't fire the coach after one year they're not invested? could it maybe be, that it's not a good look to fire a coach after a year ...

    Orgeron Model and/or Dabo Model?

yes, we are Miami ... the only difference is conference ... if we were in the SEC we'd be in deep ****, but in the ACC if we can get the offense fixed we have a shot ...

    Orgeron Model and/or Dabo Model?

With Manny being retained, but firing Enos it reminded of what LSU has done with Orgeron. They too had underachieved for a few years, however continued to give him time to fix it, despite loud calls for his head. Give Manny or whoever credit for recognizing that Eno's offense wasn't the...
