LSU is a national contender in multiple sports. Their teams are “given” those resources so that they can compete for national titles. If the excuse is a lack of resources, stop pretending to be a P5 athletic department.

Yes, I would rather have him poach a pitching coach. Once again, if Laz Gutierrez wasn't a Miami bro, he wouldn't be on a list of 250 pitching coach candidates. He's not a pitching coach.

Don't do that. He hasn't coached minor league pitchers in at least ten years. And there is no indication that he was any good at that, as evidenced by his transition from coach to non-coach by the Red Sox.

So we had the son of the biggest donor in UM history running the program, but now that he’s gone we can try to fix our financial issues? WTF?
