At his best 8 to 10 years ago, Rick was an average HC. He always managed a clunker or two. At his worst last year, he was one of the worst, most hapless HCs I’ve ever seen. I almost felt sorry for him last year.

Rickety didn’t fail because of religious beliefs; he failed because he’s got lower testosterone levels than Jonny Weir and legit appeared to be a mummified corpse.

And that’s an insult to average people. He got too full of himself here and started causing rifts with his guys instead of leading.

Same old dance. These dummies don’t realize that there can be a huge disparity between performance and ability based on coaching and leadership. They see poor performance and automatically think poor ability even after the bum coach gets run out of town on a rail.

Not going to get into a 50 post back and forth, but if the same players play much better this year in a completely revamped modern system, then, yeah, it was the system/coaches and not the talent that was the problem. I know your thing is that we are devoid of talent, so you’re going to ride...

Watch how much better the same talent performs on offense this year.

Sad thing is Rosier was a much better QB as an unprepared freshman than he was a second year starter under Rickety. Rickety and son mindfvcked the offensive players and QBs so badly that our QBs got to the point where they couldn’t complete 5 yard passes. Look at Rosier slinging it around...

Unfortunately, most “scouts” are down on their luck bums with connections (former player, family friend, washed out assistant coach, etc.) that NFL teams throw a few bucks.

This isn’t a 4 cylinder engine. You guys can keep trying to tamp down what’s brewing here, but I ain’t having it.
