It's not an extreme example...it is customary for the overwhelming majority of players. I know dudes that never made a play yet were on the team at SEC schools and are taken care of... I got buddies that played at Iowa and Connecticut who are prospering bc of their alumni ties...Miami players...
It's not even the boosters,,,it's their classmates, parents of their class mates etc....you make a memorable play...just be on the team...you're good....for example: Tyrone Prothro doesn't have to buy a meal in Tuscaloosa.....cush job.
One thing I stress to these kids is that if you go to school out of state & don’t make it pro..don’t expect the alumni in this state to help you with jobs, networking, etc...I tell them they’re going to have to go back & live in that state where they went to school bc that’s where all their...
Whatever school he chooses will ensure he comes out unscathed. Kids going to the highest bidder...we gotta WIN big & hope he realizes he needs to stay home..with some incentive of course.
I will say this...kid had the worst home life you could ever ******* imagine. I mean the absolute WORST.
Take this to the bank: If Miami wants him..gotta treat him as a 5 star in every way. I mean every way.
