This administration is doing it backward. Like I've been saying, looking for a new HC before fixing the athletic department and hiring a competent AD is bewildering to me. It doesn't make any sense and will lead to looking at the worse options of HC's. The best available coaches will not touch...

Randy was Donna Edna Shalalah choice. Golden, yeah I think you're right. Still that doesn't mean a competent AD shouldn't be involved though.

You have to admit though that is not how it is normally done by most universities. The new AD has to live with this new coach.

Come to think of it, UM could be on the cutting edge of college athletics but fans don't know it. Setting new trends. Hire a football HC who then chooses his AD. Brilliant!

The fact that Blake James still has a job and there are rumors some random influential people are working on Manny's replacement while keeping him employed AND without a future AD involvement is SCARY. Mistakes will be made.........again.

Yeah it's kind of strange order of things. Normally you hire a competent AD who knows what he is doing, said AD would conduct a thorough search for a HC. But hey, nothing is normal at Coral Gables.
