I know you're just being cynical and I get it. But it really defies logic how they have handled it. Our punt return unit in general just sucks. Hardly ever set up decently for a return. Just a lot of wasted hidden yards trying to master the art of the fair catch which we can barely master.

I just don't get the pr rotations. We have had Hall, then Restrepo, then back to Hall, then Harley (I think there were others). Can't they just figure this out in practice and ride with whoever you got? It's hard for anyone to get comfortable back there with how we are doing it.

If they think that part of the problem has been cb recruiting (which it has) then getting better talent might allow the defense to play less soft and be more aggressive playing more man. Maybe they are not trusting the talent back there so try to be more conservative with play calling.

Would a guy like T Rob be willing to take a co-dc role and coach secondary to come back home? He certainly will be able to bring in more talent in the back field. Would you guys be good with keeping Baker under that scenario?

You think Baker could be kept and demoted to just a position coach, like lbs with a new DC? If there is going to be a schematic change seems like they are bringing new blood with a lot of input.
