No....I No...I have a 2 bedroom 2 bath Condo in San Carlos 1,100 Sq ft I bought for $200,000 2 1/2 yrs ago. HOAs was originally $325 monthly...but went up to $375 after Hurricane where I presently live. Place in Sarasota is also 2 bedroom 2 bath with 1,200 Sq ft and has a $225,000 asking price...

I guess. You'd be surprised the Condo's you can buy for $200,000- $225,000 in SWFL....Especially Cash Sales.

I "own" that Condo....and I'll "own" another one. Paid Cash for both. Some perplexing.

Oh I know....Sarasota's as well. But this was through a friend. Only difference is, our Condo now is an 8 plex...the one in Sarasota is a 16 plex. My Association dues will go up $100 a month though.

Love Englewood as well. Love Sarasota's quality of life.

San Carlos is nice, but I've loved Sarasota since the mid 70s. I grew up only 45mins from there, so I've spent alot of time there. My GF was offered an incredible job in Miami 4months ago at Mt. Sinai, and we were thinking about moving to Miami (Coral Gables), but I really didn't want to live in...
