Waiting until after signing day to fire coaches? Terrible idea.

You think Kool told Saban "just let me wait a few weeks before I announce I am quitting, so I don't hurt Richts recruiting class"?

Waiting until after signing day to fire coaches? Terrible idea.

Except after signing day, odds are a lot of the other class have been filled at that position. Not only that, its not guaranteed you get the waiver. And if its so easy to get waivers, then what is the point of waiting to fire the corch in the first place?

Waiting until after signing day to fire coaches? Terrible idea.

Its worse when it is the staff purposely waiting to fire a coach, so he can lock in a recruiting class though. With the Kool example, he didn't hang around to lock in the class. That is just the way it played out.

Waiting until after signing day to fire coaches? Terrible idea.

I am not making it seem like anything. Anyone with a fully functioning brain can see the difference between the 2 situations. You are correct, even after the contract is created it still needs to be reviewed by lawyers and agents. Do you think they do this just to waste time? No, often times...

Waiting until after signing day to fire coaches? Terrible idea.

Yes, because until that contract is signed, you don't know for sure you are leaving. There is a massive difference between "I may leave within the next few weeks, but I am going to keep it to myself because I don't know for sure" and "I am going to wait a couple weeks to fire this bum because I...

Waiting until after signing day to fire coaches? Terrible idea.

There is a big difference between signing a contract after signing day and purposely waiting to fire a coach so the kids will be stuck at the school after signing day.

A couple hurt feelings? You think it would just be a couple hurt feelings and then it would all blow over? LOL!! We are talking about pushing back the firing of a coach for the sole purpose of tricking a kid into signing with us, so that he will be trapped at our school for at least 1 year and...

Waiting until after signing day to fire coaches? Terrible idea.

That is not what I am saying. I am saying, waiting until after signing day to ***** over the kids, so they are forced to play for an OC that they may not like. Is not a good idea.

Waiting until after signing day to fire coaches? Terrible idea.

That is 100% correct. So not only is this not salvaging the class at all. It is just another thing to negatively recruit us. Any time one of our position groups is not up to scratch other teams could remind players that "their position coach may be fired the day after singing day if they go to...

Waiting until after signing day to fire coaches? Terrible idea.

Does anyone actually believe this is the plan? This would help salvage the class, but would just be another thing to negatively recruit us with. Imagine what other schools would say if we literally fired our coaches, days after signing day, just so the kids would be forced to stay signed to...
