I think the general hope is that Miami might finally have competent coaches on both sides of the ball for the first time in a very long time. Seems like we just haven’t been able to pair a good unit with anything other than a clown show on the other side of the ball in a long, long time.

My guesses are early in the year it’ll be Pope as the #3 spending most of his time in the slot, Hightower on the outside, and Harley as the 5th guy but Payton will prove he’s too solid to keep off the field by ACC season and sneak into the rotation.

My thoughts here are that the odds of having 3 really good QBs are pretty slim. Assuming they all suck because they’re competing closely is ridiculous, but I’d really love to hear that one kid was pulling away with the job simply because if not, the odds of having 3 equally good quarterbacks...
