A young player is better off getting in to NBA development as soon as they possibly can especially if they can grab a few million guaranteed while doing so. Do you actually know anything about the NBA?

What? There is plenty of reason to leave. You get a paycheck and much better player development. If you can go guaranteed in the first round you might as well leave.

I guess here is to hoping he looks like garbage at the combine and in workouts so we can have him back next season.

Essentially I think Lonnie has been good enough to get him self a spot in the first round. If you can go first round you have to go. He could improve his stock in another season but he will improve more as a player in the NBA with top tier coaching and make a nice paycheck while doing so.

Have there been any updates about his injury? Any chance we see him on the court again this season?
