Kansas was by far the best team in this tournament. When they turned it on, nobody was good enough to play with them. It was good to see that bad first half not bury them. Nothing worse than a Champ game that’s not even close, like last years.

Update: When you’re that much better than the team you’re playing, you can show up whenever you want and still win.

This is what Kansas is. You either get a team nobody can beat, or you get a team almost anybody can beat. The bad version doesn’t play in the tourney. It’s why Self only has 1 title. And even that took about 20 missed free throws and a miracle three.

Outside of two calls in the Mich St game, that narrative has been completely destroyed. It’s been one of the worst officiated tourneys I’ve ever seen, but not swayed toward Duke.

Imagine hearing that in person. My boss is a Carolina grad and one of my employees is a Duke grad. I’m on both campuses for work, at least once a week. I’ve never been water boarded, but I’m guessing it’s a lot like what I’m gonna have to go through the next 5 days.

If they weren’t a 1 seed every year they wouldn’t make to to the second weekend. Last year was the exception, they had their best team ever and got smashed.
