    Not close enough to anyone in LE. I've resorted to buying ammo from friends who've hoarded 9mm. I have close friends who don't go to the range now because they don't want to "waste" ammo. Weird times.

    I don't know if some subconscious bias happened here, but tried the Glock 43x, 19 and 17 today. Shot from 5 to 20 yards. Didn't like how the 43 felt. Almost felt "loose." Hard to describe.     M&P9, if I remember correctly. Didn’t consider those weapons because the ones I used had been completely modified by the instructor, so not something I can easily go out and buy. The instructor was an ex-SEAL who apparently likes to do significant changes to his weapons.

    It's one of only two handguns I've handled. As a relative "newb," it appears to be the best price/value. The Sig seems attractive, but I simply don't have the experience to know better...yet.

    Deciding between a Glock 19 and Glock 43. Going through some tactical training this week and will decide some time after. Will gladly listen to advice from more experienced folks here.
