I think you will see scholarships go up in baseball in the near future. It wont be full. But I could see them bumping up to 15ish maybe a touch higher. If you go any higher then you really create a potential gap between the top tier and lower tier that is even larger.

If JD wanted to gamble on the hire I would have been more impressed if he plucked someone from Driveline or Tread directly. He could still oversee the staff with his background and “old school” mentality but have a data/sports science/biomechanics guy infuse some new life.
