I get it, but putting feelings aside, this would be bad for the ACC, which in turn would be bad for Miami.

ACC needs to do something. Right now, ND doesn’t. It’s going to be funny ND ***** around and end up in a different conference, when it’s all said and done.

The way the ACC treated ND, last season, really bothered me. They got that Duke and UNC treatment. Outside of the chance of beating those Irish ***** every year, I don’t like the idea of ND joining the ACC and the ACC pushing their agenda of ND playing in title game.

Valid point but If the SEC has interest then you may have to figure it out. I am all about forward thinking and creativity. Kudos to Texas, OU, and SEC for making this move. It’s a game changer. If this continues, one has to think the NCAA will join the Big East, soon.

I hate the ACC; however, I acknowledge the ACC and Adidas (love what Adidas has done with our brand) gives us a chance to compete, not only in Football but in all sports. Hence, the idea of going independent is suicide for us.

It goes beyond the schedule. That doesn’t include the loss of the crazy amount of guaranteed income generated by the ACC (which I hate).

Some of you don’t understand how to run a business. Going independent would be suicidal for this program.

Oh, I despise the ACC. I would love to leave them. Unfortunately, we haven’t been a hot commodity for two decades and the demand for us isn’t high.

Even with them, the Big 12 is a mess.

Valid point but the situation with the SEC today compared to what it was just a few days ago is entirely different. No school in the country worth anything would not consider joining that movement.

Big 12 about to be the next Big East. Absolutely not. I rarely disagree with LCE but that was a take I did not agree with.

I’m sure your opinion is pretty accurate but Michigan is a business and no good business would never not consider its options, especially if it’s a great opportunity. SEC is about to become its own Athletics government (for lack of better words). You do not want to miss that boat.

Point taken but last week if it was reported OU and Texas were heading to the SEC then you would have said the same thing.

I like this idea a lot. ACC should consider this idea. I still doubt A&M leaves.

I am not a fan of the SEC but if OU and Texas join, I’ll be intrigued. This is great for the SEC, bad for the rest of us.

The perception of the $EC with recruits is going to be on another level. This hurts the rest of the nation. ACC or Miami need to make moves to compete with this super league.
