It wouldn’t be acceptable to me. Banda has never called plays and, in my opinion, the only positive to having him on staff is his recruiting prowess.

We need a new AD before we even consider hiring a new head coach. Blake is the head of the snake; if we don’t cut it off, we’re doomed to continue this cycle of misery.

He’s certainly going to have a chance to save his job. Whether he’s got the foresight to make some hard choices remains to be seen.

It can’t be someone that’s going to be afraid to challenge him. He needs strong-minded coaches around him.

I’m saying that, through all the man’s failures, he has continued to try and keep his head above water. He doesn’t let himself drown. Are his attempts feeble at times? Yes, but that doesn’t diminish the overall point.

I never said he would do what was necessary, but I doubt he does nothing at all. Either way, like you said, he’s on borrowed time. The point is, we’re going to have him for at least one more year, so let’s see what pride the man has left.

Ya, we should have let him go to Temple and conducted a real coaching search. Blake James continues to escape scrutiny because everyone zeroes in on Manny.
