Who is that....UGA? Okay, maybe. After that, you got teams like Oklahoma State and Notre Dame. If you don’t think we would have a chance to beat those teams, I don’t know what to tell you.

Some position groups are really holding us back, but I also blame the coaches for some of the mental errors. That **** needs to be cleaned up.

Agreed. Phillips and Roche try too hard to make the big play sometimes....and it ends up costing us every once in a while.

The LBs are the most glaring issue, but our defensive ends also do a **** job of setting the edge. They may be some of our best players, but for some reason our coaches can’t get them to stay disciplined. It’s disheartening.

I’d counter that by saying there were parts of the game that excited me and had me thinking I was watching another team, a much better team. The problem with the Canes remains consistency. They can’t get out of their own way. A couple nice plays and then a drop, or a penalty, or a dumb...

Fair enough. I think when we’re on, we can compete with most teams. When we’re off, we can lose to just about anyone. The inconsistency is what bothers me the most.

Perhaps. Are you so certain we would lose? Again, shake up teams 4-50. All those teams can win or lose on any given day. That’s CFB in a nutshell.

There is a serious disconnect between the players and coaches. We got guys running around clueless pre-snap, busted coverages everywhere, and we still don’t know how to set an edge. That’s just the tip of the iceberg. Yes, we only gave up 14, but it could have/should have been worse. I think...
