    It was an ACL. Luckily it happened early in season. He'll have had 11 months by the time September comes around.

    You're definitely not wrong. We have a healthy amount of very good players and developing talent with high upside, but we're clearly lacking the truly elite first round types right now. Only way to fix that is thru recruiting & thankfully it's Mario's strength.

    Eventually if the outside receivers struggle we'll see opposing defenses use that 2020 Clemson/Venables game plan; they'll play heavy press on the outside and either blitz happy up the gut or specifically take away the middle of the field to inhibit the TE's. I think Brinson will help but tough...

    I mostly agree, but who on our schedule with exception to A&M, Clemson has the personnel to run it down our throats ? UNC and Pitt will present a challenge but nothing we can't combat IMO. Grab a couple key portal defenders and we should be ok.
